A Space

In November 2011, my family and I moved to The United States. We found a house on a piece of land and have made a new home. One of the miracles of this move is Space, we have loads of it and it overwhelms me at times. There is so much to do, yet, so little to do. A walk around the land introduces me to new surprises everyday. The energy of the plants, trees and animals having replaced the dense human energy we experienced in the city.

ImageOver the last few months, I have not had alot of time to paint. Oddly enough there has not been a burning desire to paint. It’s as if this land and my discovery of it has emptied the old and has been replenishing me for another wave. It has created the Space within me to get going again. So, with materials newly bought and my heart bursting with gratitude for the space I have, I am ready to get started on a new batch of paintings. I already have my studio ready…Outdoors, in the open fields with a view to Mt. Baker, out front of the old farmhouse and out behind the trees where no one can see me “Let it rip”.

There is nothing having Space
